This one meant a lot.

I had the privilege of working with three siblings to sell their late mother’s home in Cheam — and while the circumstances were naturally emotional, they were some of the kindest, most thoughtful clients I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

The property itself was a classic family home just moments from Cheam Village. With a generous layout, potential to modernise, and a wonderful rear garden, it was the sort of place you could really imagine building a future in — or simply enjoying as it was, full of warmth and character. The study converted from the original garage, the bright dual-aspect reception room, and the lovely flow to the garden made it especially inviting.

Cheam is one of those areas that blends village charm with proper London convenience. Cheam Park and Nonsuch Park are practically on your doorstep (ideal for dog walks or clearing your head), and Cheam Station whisks you into Victoria in around 30 minutes. It’s a community-minded place too, with a local parkrun, great schools, and a strong sense of history — from mock Tudor shopfronts to the site of Henry VIII’s Nonsuch Palace.

This home found its new owners a while ago now, but it felt right to mark it here — not just because it was a great sale, but because of the people behind it. A big thank you again to the family for trusting me with such a meaningful move.

If you're based in Cheam or have a family home to sell and want a personal approach that respects the story behind it, I'm always here for a conversation.
